For many years, George Turner searched and compiled the history of the Mark Master Lodges and the Royal Arch Chapters in Kentucky. This work is the current state of that research and is the most complete look at these organizations in the Kentucky Grand Chapter's more than 200 years of existence. It is a seminal work. It is not, however, the culmination of his efforts.
There is something about the search for something that has been lost that stirs a man to move. The need to preserve lost symbols, meanings, words, and, ultimately, our history is one of the greatest callings of man and the most important charge given to us. This work does exactly that- it preserves for our posterity the history of our order and the men who built our monuments on Biblical truths presented in our degrees.
